Students of the Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy Clinical EEG Program will be held to all TNA standards both academically and behaviorally. You have been selected based on your qualifications and desire to grow in the neurodiagnostics field.
Academic Integrity:
Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy considers academic integrity to be essential for each student’s intellectual development.
Students and instructors of Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy accept the responsibility for academic integrity. A student who is accepted into the Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy Clinical EEG Program thereby agrees to abide by the regulations governing work stipulated by the program, and, in turn, the instructor. Student essay submissions will be routinely searched by an online originality check program.
Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy also recognizes that the pressure to succeed can often be intense. Students who feel overwhelmed by their academic and personal obligations may be tempted to take shortcuts that may compromise their honesty and integrity. To help students derive the full benefit of the educational opportunity provided by Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy, this section defines a violation of academic integrity and gives examples of actions that are considered dishonest. Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy encourages students who may have questions or concerns about the definition and forms of academic integrity violations described herein to contact their course instructor. This also includes head measurement forms. There is no such thing as a perfect head measurement, and that is why there is wiggle room in grading to allow everyone to grow and become more accurate as time goes on. Head measurements that are not realistic are not able to be accepted. After many years experience in the field, we have yet to attain perfect measures ourselves, and we don't expect yours to be either.
A violation of academic integrity is any action or attempted action that may result in creating an unfair academic advantage for the student or an unfair academic advantage or disadvantage for any student participating in the Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy Clinical EEG Program.
Academic integrity violations are not limited to the following:
-Plagiarism
-Cheating
-Providing False Information
-Copyright Violation
-Misrepresentation of Credentials
-Theft or Damage of Property
-Alteration of Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy Clinical EEG Program Documents
-Completing the virtual timesheet or evaluation form in lieu of providing the link to your preceptor
-Any aberration of electronic access that is outside of your login credentials without consent of Trusted Academy
If a student is caught violating the Academic Integrity Policy they will be placed on a 90 day Academic Suspension. During that time if the student is caught violating the Academic Integrity Policy again they will be let go from the program, but they will still be responsible for the full tuition cost of the Trusted Neurodiagnostics Academy Clinical EEG Program. Multiple violations of the Academic Integrity Policy will also result in release from the program, but still responsible for the full tuition.
